Google's New Mobile Algorithm

Google’s new mobile algorithm update has taken the world by storm, and which will impact search results in ways its predecessors, namely Panda and Penguin updates, did not. As the world grows more and more reliant on technology, convenience is at the top of their priorities. Nothing can be truer when it comes to their mobile devices.

In the past, Google updated its algorithm to facilitate how users browsed the internet on their smart devices. Of course, great content will always remain king when it comes to ranking high on this search engine giant’s rankings; even if a website is not mobile friendly, it will still rank high if it is a quality site. The search engine giant will release the update in phases (in the coming weeks), thus giving webmasters ample time to adjust their website strategies and make modifications accordingly. Additionally, sites that do not conform to the changes will not be penalized too much if they have quality or relevant content according to the search queries used to locate them. Plus, the new updates will not have an effect on tablets or desktops.

Some are of the opinion that Google took more time than most to jump on this bandwagon.
